For more than twenty years, I poured my heart into nursing. I loved serving people, being part of families’ most meaningful moments, and offering comfort when life was hard. But over time, I began to feel my own life slipping by. I was missing weekends, holidays, school plays, laughter at the dinner table, and the everyday moments that become memories. Travel became the thing that brought me back to myself. Every trip felt like fresh air — sunshine, discovery, laughter, and time with the people I love. I planned vacations for my family, then for friends, coworkers, and anyone who needed help. Planning trips was exciting, joyful, and energizing. I realized I had a talent for it — building seamless itineraries, finding value, creating flow, and uncovering beautiful experiences that felt effortless. What started as a personal outlet slowly became a calling. I eventually traded scrubs for sunsets and stepped fully into travel.
