There is something about Kauaʻi that stays with you long after you leave. Waterfalls spill through emerald valleys, sea turtles rest along the beaches, and the dramatic cliffs of the Nāpali Coast rise straight out of the Pacific. Exploring Waimea Canyon, kayaking the Wailua River, snorkeling with incredible marine life, and learning more about Hawaiian culture made this trip unforgettable. This isn’t a guidebook. It’s my personal journal of the memories, adventures, and lessons from our very first trip to Hawaii and the island that started our family’s love of returning again and again.
